Customer Review: ViewSonicN1930w LCD HDTV
The TV has a good picture, but the sound is not clear and you have to turn it up to the maximum volume to hear it. The instructions do not provide information as to whether there is any way to correct the problem. I would not have purchased this set if I had known about the poor sound.
Customer Review: Great LCD
This screen has worked really nice. The picture is crisp and colors are excellent. It should have come with a tilting base as where it sits I needed to place something under the back to get the optimal picture. It could have better speakers, but does the job well.

Every parent wants to see their kids happy, cheerful and smiling all the time. So, they want to bring their kids happiness in every possible way. When it comes to gifting your child something, there is nothing like offering them an elegant and sleek digital camera. However, buying a digital camera for them could be extremely daunting task as you may not be aware of their personal taste and liking. At the same time, you would want to pleasantly surprise your kid with a gift and hence, would keep it a secret. This article will tell you what to keep in mind while purchasing a digital camera for gifting your child.

The Latest & Most Sought-after:

The digital camera that you are buying for your kid should be the latest trend and the most demandable one. Go for the one which is being heavily advertised and popularly talked about. This will give you child immense happiness and a sense of pride. Besides, it will make your kids really proud of the possession and will make them feel special.

Elegant Design:

Children have a knack of being excited by the looks of their possessions. So, while buying a camera ensure that it must have elegant look to impress your children. It doesn`t really matter to them if the camera has a big screen or whether it is 2 mega pixel. What matters a lot to them is whether the camera has got a smart shape, flashy colors, and funky look. Kids are not pretty amazed by gadgets that look boring or serious. Hence, you have to carry this factor in mind while buying a digital camera for your child.

Compact Size:

Children like their gadgets small, funky and compact. So you need to select a digital camera for your kid that should be small and compact in size. While you choose a camera, weigh it by your hands and see if it would be comfortable for your kid to carry or hang round their shoulder. Don`t go for large and bulky models even if they have attractive features, they will not catch the fancy of your kids.

Fun Features:

The gift to your kids might be meant for taking pictures for school projects, however, they will be using it for taking pictures of their friends and for some really fun activities. Hence, try to choose a digital camera that has maximum fun features. It may be colorful background images, sound effects or wonderful photographic effective. You can truly win the heart of your kids if you offer them a camera that best fits their interests and activities.

Easy Usability:

The digital camera you buy for your children should have easy functionality for them. They should find it easy to use their camera without much problem. For example, the `click ability` factor should be taken into consideration as it could be confusing for some kids. In short, the camera gifted by you should have simple system through which children can easily take pictures quickly and efficiently. However, children these days are much smarter and gadget geeks and they pick up really fast.

Price:

It is really understandable that you don`t want to spend a fortune on buying a digital camera for your children. Luckily, there are lots of choices available in the market and the prices of digital cameras start from as low as 30 USD to 300 USD. Hence, it really depends how much you want to spend for the gift of your kids. However, it is advisable that you should start simple and upgrade it if you notice that your kids grow out of the one you have bought for them.

So, consider these factors into account and buy your kids a digital camera so that they can take their favorite pictures. Who knows, they can be a talented photographer in future!

Black Tilting Wall Mount Bracket for Samsung LN-S3241D LCD 32 inch HDTV TV

Our Wall Mounts are manufactured using durable steel. Included in the box are Wall Mount / Mounting Hardward / Manual

There are those who love taking good pictures and then there are those who just love good pictures. As many of us would know, taking a professional-looking picture can be quite a daunting task. For those who would looking to take great pictures without the hassle of hundreds of custom settings, consider getting your hands of the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera. This model comes with a 20x wide-angle optical image stabilized zoom feature.

With a host of automatic features, the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera enables you to take high quality images with little hassle. Those who are used to using Canon's SX series will immediately notice a great improvement in image quality with the new model. Its 28-560mm lens captures amazing pictures putting in head and shoulders above other camera models of its class.

The new Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera has a DIGIC 4 image processor that increases the rate of noise reduction delivering high image quality a high ISO speeds. It also has a new I-Contrast feature that automatically adjusts contrast rations for better transition between light and dark shades.

Another impressive feature of the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera is its impressive 20x optical zoom. This zooming capacity is way above your average set of binoculars. While testing out the zoom in my living room, the camera can easily capture crisp and bright images of some small prints across the room.

This new model has a 2.5 inch LCD display, which in my opinion, seems a tad small by today's standards. I personally would prefer a bigger display screen more than anything else. All in all, in my books, the Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera is still one of the best cameras in its class.

Panasonic PT 47WX49 - 47" rear projection TV ( CRT ) - widescreen - 1080i - HDTV monitor - dark gray

Panasonic's Projection TVs offer big entertainment for your family, right at home! With Hi-DefinitionTV (HDTV) Series you'll experience incredibly sharp picture quality, brilliant color and resonating sound all for which Panasonic is world-renowned. Each model includes standard features for amazingly clear and detailed images, impressive stereo sound and enhanced, vivid color quality - all at a viewing size that holds everyone captive! The PT-47WX49 features Panasonic Wide Screen 16: 9 aspect ratio HDTV offering the ultimate digital video and audio experience. The built-in Progressive scan converter enables the signal display as a progressively scanned image - with progressive scanning, the horizontal scan lines that are often visible in ordinary television are virtually undetectable. The 2 Tuner Split Screen feature lets you view two programs at once by dividing the screen down the middle.

I bought my Panasonic NV-GS11 video camera from eBay and for the cost, it seemed perfect. I liked the feel of the camera, it's simplicity of use, until I tried to transfer my movie to a PC and that's when the trouble started!

Normally, when you connect a camera using the USB connection, your PC recognises the device and you can use it straight away. I had no end of problems getting the PC to do this and I thought the driver was at fault. The answer, in hindsight, is that in the menu there are 2 items for the USB function, "web camera" and "DV Studio" - the software for acquiring still photos from the camera.

Choose "web camera", connect your camera to the PC via the USB connection and switch on the camera using the Playback mode. Check "My Computer" and there should be a video camera icon with "USB Video Device" beside it. Double click onto this icon will open up a page, where if you start your movie from the camera, you can see the results on the PC screen. Unfortunately, there's nowhere on this page where you can save the movie itself.

I thought DV Studio would be the answer but that didn't produce the result I wanted. (You have to go back to the camera menu and change the USB Function to DV Studio) While this will allow you to acquire individual still photos from the movie, you still can't save the movie. I also tried playing the movie through Windows Media Player, but there wasn't a function to do this.

I searched with Google and found the answer. Many people had the same issue but there didn't seem to any answers. Eventually, I found one reply on a forum way down the page which provided the solution.

Download Windows Movie Maker from the Microsoft page. This is for Windows XP:-

http://www.download.com/Windows-Movie-Maker-Windows-XP-/3000-13631_4-10165075.html

Open Movie Maker and you will see " Capture from video device" This allows you to save your movie into a directory of your choice and later burn the movie onto a CD using your favourite software.

I hope this is of some help to you all with the same problem I had. If you need any further assistance, drop me an email to brian.parkin@optusnet.com.au.

MP3 technology and its development is linked with the name of a German company - Fraunhofer-Gesellshaft. The research centre of a prestigious institute - Fraunhofer Institut - which is part of the previously mentioned German company, began o project in 1987 (EUREKA project EU147), with the sole aim to research high-quality, low bit-rate audio coding. The institute was assisted in this research by Dieter Seitzer, a professor at the University of Erlangen.

The Fraunhofer Institute research was led by Karlheinz Brandenburg, a specialist in electronics and mathematics who had actually been involved in researching methods of compressing music for at least 10 years at the time the project started. That is why he has often been referred to as the 'father of MP3'.

The project that began in 1987 came to an almost complete standstill; the several modification tests they carried out simply did not help the encoding work properly. However, it didn't take long for the compiler error to be found and the first version of the MP3 codec was submitted. The German patent for MP3 was obtained in 1989 with the USA patent being issued in 1996.
The first record company to distribute music tracks in the MP3 format was SubPop. They began this kind of activity as early as 1999. During the same year, the first portable MP3 players appeared and thus modern technology brought another spectacular invention for our use that would change the way we music would be listened to.

Frauenhofer had a go at producing the first MP3 player in the early 1990s but, unfortunately, this was a failure. Seven years later, developer Tomislav Uzelac of Advanced Multimedia Products managed to turn his idea into reality and the first successful MP3 player - the AMP MP3 Playback Engine - was born.

The MPMan F10, developed by SaeHan Information Systems headquartered in Seoul, a 32MB portable with a memory that had the option to be upgraded to 64MB, is known as the first portable solid state digital audio player sold in the USA but the Rio PMP300 which appeared later had a much better reception. Ever since, things have improved considerably and the third millennium surely has some great advancements and surprises in store for us.

For great information on MP3 players and one of the best resources online for finding discount MP3 player then look no further.

Sharp LC19DV24U 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with Built In DVD Player

This latest HDTV / DVD combination unit offers a space-saving, all-in-one solution that is perfect for any room in the home. In addition to a built-in progressive scan side-loading DVD player. High brightness levels, a hallmark of Sharp's innovation, create clear, vibran pictures and true-to-life color clarity in most lighting conditions. Sharp's award-winning LCD technology makes the DV24 a perfect combo unit.
Customer Review: nice but incomplete
A nicely designed TV/DVD player, but . . . 1. The QAM/ATSC tuner only goes to cable channel 125, not the standard channel 135. Connected directly to Comcast cable (no box) in DC I miss channels such as Fox HD that are above 125. 2. No flashback (last channel) button 3. No TV guide function All of which is irrelevant if you use it as a monitor attached to a cable/satellite/FIOS box, or off the air.
Customer Review: Good buy
I've had this unit for about 6 months. I'm very happy with it, but I'd be even happier if I'd got it at the $100 reduced price it's going for now. Unlike some LCD monitors, the sound is fine. The only time I have trouble is with some channels. It's the channel that has diminished sound because commercials come in LOUD and clear. Good position of controls on top. Good angle vision. Dvd is good too. So easy to use. I did a lot of research online before selecting this model. I'm satisfied with my choice.

If you are looking to build your first home theater for your family and are looking to do so on a reasonable budget a 720p projector is a great way to go.

A few short years ago a 720p projector was the norm for home theaters. Able to provide a stunning high definition image on a screen measured in feet instead of inches was the choice for state of the art home theaters. Even today a 720p projector is more then capable of displaying standard definition DVDs and broadcast HDTV at an optimum resolution. Many will even argue that unless you are planning on sitting close to the screen (within 1.5 times the screen width) that you will have a hard time noticing a difference, especially on non 1080p material

With the recent arrival of 1080p projectors and blu-ray players that output images at 1080p, the 720p projector has lost some of its allure. While it is true that 1080p projectors are certain to be the standard for future projectors and it is no secret that most of the research and development and improved features are now being directed towards the 1080p projector market, there is still a market for a 720p projectors. In fact for those who have been considering a home HD projector, now is a great time to be in the market. The price of a 720p projector has plummeted to the point where you can easily have a high definition projector for your home theater for under $1000.

So what are some popular home HD projectors to consider?

1. BenQ W500 - The W500 is a popular low cost projector with a superb image sharpness. It lacks lens shift which makes it a bit more limited then some others, but is a worthwhile consideration for your home theater.

2. Mitsubishi HC1600 - The HC1600 high definition projector is a DLP projector which provides a bright image and the image provides a pleasing image contrast despite a lower on/off reported contrast ratio compared to it's competitors.

3. Panasonic PT-AX200U - This full featured 720p projector is probably the most popular and highly regarded "entry level" 720p projector on the market today. It provides a pixel free image structure for an excellent image. It is a very bright home HD projector compared to the competition and adds a strong zoom and lens shift which gives it an advantage in terms of placement flexibility. Although costing a few more dollars then those in its class it is an excellent buy and a welcome addition to HDTV viewers, movie viewers and gamers alike.

Now is a great time to experience home theater in its true glory, with life size images that are capable of immersing you in the action. Once you experience high definition on your own home HD projector you will never go back.

For additional 720p projectors or to explore some of the new popular 1080p projectors as well as gather more in depth information on what to look for in a high definition projector check out the Family Home Theater Guide.

Nothing succeeds like success seems to be the new motto of ASUS about their EEE range of machines. Their EEE 700 and 900 series have been a great success and now they have launched a desktop in the same range. The beauty of this desktop is the fact that it is very small. All too often large desktop boxes are dumped on the floor as there is no room on the desk and then it becomes more difficult to plug in some extra device, whether that is a USB drive, a camera or another printer.

ASUS have kept it very simple and have named this the EEE Box. This ASUS EEE Box is different from established desktops as it is very small. It is also inexpensive, for example in the U.S.A. it should retail at between $200 and $300 but that is for the box on its own. It will still need a keyboard, monitor and mouse.

The specification of the ASUS EEE box is interesting. A Linux operating system is the main one on offer with it being compatible with Windows XP. The Intel AtomTM 1.6 GHz processor is backed up with 512Mb, 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM. The Hard drive options are from 80 GB to 250 GB. There is wireless and wired LAN with optional Bluetooth. The boxes are only 8.5 inches by 7 inches by 1 inch and weigh in at around 2.2 lbs (1 Kg if you prefer). There is a choice of colors for the box itself, making sure it doesn't clash with the color of the office.

The machines do not feature an optical drive and any installs or backups will need to be performed on an external drive. There is no option to run these machines on Windows Vista and as the support of Windows XP runs out very shortly except for sub-notebooks it puts anyone who want to run these under windows at something of a disadvantage. The version of Linux is also not clear from the releases I have read. The option of the Xandros Linux that already runs of the ASUS EEE would seem to be very likely. Any large company might decide to load its preferred version of Linux rather than one that ASUS provides.

For a growing business with a small but growing workforce this would seem to be an excellent way of providing a cheap desktop for every employee. The difficulty may be the flexibility of new workers to accept either Windows XP or Linux when they may be used to Windows Vista.

Black Tilting Wall Mount Bracket for Samsung LN-T4642H LCD 46 inch HDTV TV

Our Wall Mounts are manufactured using durable steel. Included in the box are Wall Mount / Mounting Hardward / Manual

When reviewing HDTV ratings one should really look for important features that will help them choose the proper high definition television depending on what type of media they plan on using with the system. There are many features and technical specifications that are used inside any HDTV ratings system. Some of the most important are:

Native Resolution - this is basically the number of horizontal pixels x vertical pixels that the HDTV can display. The higher the native resolution the better. A 1080p display will have a native resolution of 1920x1080 and any native resolution lower than that is not 1080p. Any native resolution lower than 1280x720 (720p) is not true high definition and one should really be choosing a system with 1080p resolution as the prices now have come down. People might say there is not that much 1080p media to play on your 1080p tv, even if that were true, there will be much much more 1080p media to watch in the near future.... most of which is already here on HD DVD and Blu Ray disks.

Contrast Ratio - this is basically the difference between a white pixel (brightest) to that of a black pixel (darkest). The higher the ratio the better. A contrast ratio of 10,000:1 will produce absolutely amazing picture quality with a 1080p TV. Some manufactures will boast a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 or 15,000 but it really is dynamic contrast ratio. You have to watch out for this when looking at LCD displays. LCD displays usually have a much lower native contrast ratio and will advertise dynamic contrast ratio which is basically the amount of dark and bright luminosity that the system is able to produce over time.

Standard Definition - this is any type of media that is not high definition such as DVDs, VHS, some satellite signals and regular cable television. hi-def displays do have the ability to display these types of signals but some do so very poorly and the picture quality really suffers when playing these types of media. Many people still watch only cable television and have large DVD collections, so if the television does not display standard definition that well your viewing pleasure will suffer.

Video Processor - this is basically the micro chip inside the hi-def television that processes all the high definition and other signals coming into the system. If the display has a poor video processor then it will produce lower picture quality when playing high definition and standard definition. So what is one to do? well, it would take too long for most people to research video processors and which ones are used in various high definition displays. When reading HDTV ratings always look for the reviewers' statements on picture quality and how it displays various types of scenes and signals.

The most effective tool you can use when buying an high definition display is your eyes. When shopping for your next television, bring some media you like to watch, like a favorite DVD, or favorite type of movie (action, computer animated or sports, drama, cartoons...) and have the store clerk play it for your on the system if possible to judge for yourself. Just remember one thing, the high definition displays in the stores are not calibrated and are using their "out of the box" default display settings, so just one thing to keep in mind when viewing your media as when properly calibrated, the picture quality is greatly enhanced. Now if the television you are looking for is online then what you really need to do is read those HDTV ratings and especially read the user reviews. User reviews are statements made by people that already purchased the television and have written what they thought and how they like the television, very important.

There are other factors to take in and are more complicated, however, most people do not have the time for those and ultimately if the HDTV produces great picture quality on your favorite types of media then that is what people are really looking for.

Having trouble with your HDTV comparison research? or trouble choosing a top 10 HDTV display? Head on over to HDTV Ratings where the top 10 high definition televisions have been reviewed by various experts and by users who have already purchased these televisions. Full resolution pictures are included as well as user ratings and reviews just go to http://hdtvratings.weebly.com

The SAMSUNG LN52A850 redefines your home entertainment experience.
Customer Review: For those who worry about returning a big ticket item
Hi - I recently purchased the LN52A850 from Amazon. I have researched lcd and plasma tv spec's until I was convinced which one was best for my viewing habits. It also helps that you have a brother who is the head of research and development for one of the largest medical equipment corporations in the world and has done extensive research and testing on many lcd/plasma screens. His recommendation was lcd over plasma and Samusung (650 and up) or Sony (XBR or Z). I had my heart set on the Sony 46XBR6, but when I saw the LN52A850 side by side (at RC Willey's) I was sold on the Samsung unit. In fact I originally was going to go with a 46" screen, but when my wife saw the 52" screen she wasn't going to settle for a 46". I was plesantly surprised to find the lowest price (Almost $800) on Amazon and with free shipping and up to 2 years to pay for it interest free. I ordered the tv and about a week later it arrived. Unfortunately, when the delivery company unpacked it, there was a large ugly crack in the upper right corner of the plastic frame. I immediately called Amazon and they sent out a replacement. They also let me keep the damaged tv until the new one arrived. This allowed me to configure the tv with my content provider and my home theater system. The replacement tv arrived in about a week and it is flawless. The picture quality is simpily amazing. The picture is bright, the colors are deep and vibrant and the black is black. Even when the sun is out and there is heavy glare the picture is still visible. I have read in some earlier reviews that the sound from the tv is poor at best, but I did not find this to be accurate. The sound from the tv speakers is just as good as two channel stereo from my Sony A/V receiver and is as loud as I need it to be. All in all I am very satisfied with performance of the Samsung LN52A850 and would recommend it. If your looking to purchase one of the very best lcd screens to view movies, sports or tv shows this tv will not disappoint. The Super Bowl was amazing in HD, I might never get up from the couch again. Enjoy yours - Rick
Customer Review: Picture Lives Up to the Hipe
I have a 50" Plasma and two 42" LCD's and one 37" LCD HDTV's. The Samsung 52" 850 Series has by far the best picture in my house. All my research and time hanging out at Best Buy paid off. I feel as if I have the best 52" HDTV out there without paying over $3K.

Our love of digital cameras seems to be because the results are instant as film is no longer required to be processed. With numerous functions they do not need the complicated mechanical components of a standard film camera. The images are stored in a format that can be read by most modern printers, computers and even mobile phones for example. A series of ones and zeros is how all digital information is stored although the images are no different when viewed.

These cameras still use lenses in much the same way that conventional cameras do. Using an electronic system, a lower specification digital camera does away with film although it is still capturing the light as with a traditional camera. Up market versions us a different system again with a charged couple device, or CCD, being the capture system which transfers the light into an electrical signal. Images captured in what are considered to be the low-end cameras are using a CMOS device which competes directly with the CCD of the high-end variants.

The price has been depreciating recently and one of the main reasons for this is the introduction of CMOS image sensors; because CMOS sensors are less expensive and are easier to manufacture than CCD sensors. It would take an experienced digital camera enthusiast to see the difference between an images captured with a CMOS against the superior CCD system. There is no need to feel confused by the range and functions these cameras have if you are armed with a few basic facts which are provided in this article. From the point of view on having good quality photos, search for a high megapixel version as it will be worth it for the image you will capture with it; you may find a model that is being superseded shortly - available at a discount.

Unless your budget just won't stretch that far, don't buy a digital camera with only a digital zoom or you will find pictures that aren't very clear when you print them; it is much easier to take exactly the image you want with an optical zoom. Rechargeable batteries can be charged up to a thousand times and save money, do you need any other advice for why they are best? Most models come equipped with some sophisticated software that can create interesting shots; just like some of these here:

Picture frame effects
B/W image conversion
Image editing

If you're a photo freak, be sure that you have enough memory to take plenty of shots without worrying about storage. Digital storage has come down in price so buying gigabyte card will no longer require a loan but you shouldn't think of having anything less than this.

Unless you intend to use your camera for serious photography there isn't any need for a bulky very high specification version. Professional photographers may need heavy, bulky equipment but there is no requirement for a keen amateur to do so! I hope these few tips will help you choose a camera you enjoy using for a long time. The future of photography has moved on and digital cameras are that future with almost everyone carrying around one type or another every day!

There is an available slot for an optional terminal board. Or, you can remove the standard boards and mount up to three optional boards.
Customer Review: Did I mention this TV fits most 36" cabinets?
With its low profile frame its the perfect solution for those that have invested a little too heavily in entertainment centers for their old 36" direct view TVs. The only downside is that you may have to remove the doors but it will usually fit, and you'll need the optional stand to make this work. Like all Panasonic plasmas, this little unit offers an amazing picture and color reproduction with more settings and display options than you could ever use. The TV also has a built in Zoom feature which comes in handy on special occasions. And the "A" specific industrial model was upgraded with 2 HDMI ports but still has an available slot for adding more HDMI, DVI, or other inputs your system may require. It does have built in component video inputs but they are BNC type connectors so you will need 3 adapters for your RCA type cables before connecting. All in all its a 5 star product from Panasonic. The remote is easy to navigate, the manual is well written and easy to translate, but as you may already know this plasma does not have a built in tuner, so you'll either need a cable or satellite tuner which is not a problem for most people making this a centerpiece in a home theater setup. A word of caution though, HDTV is addictive.....just when you get comfortable with your new 42" Panny you may be struck with a deep regret you didn't go for the 50" model. That happened to me twice, and I am now the proud but TV poor owner of a 42", 50", and 58" Panasonic plasma. 5 Pixels

So you've spent your hard earned cash on a fantastic new HD ready television and spent countless hours setting it up and adjusting the image and sound setting to its very best, but now what? Sure, the standard programming looks great, the picture is clear and you're enjoying having a larger screen to watch the football on or maybe a DVD or two, but you know you aren't getting the full benefit out of your new investment. I mean, you wouldn't buy a Porsch and then only drive it at 25 mph would you?

To make the most out of your TV and to really show off exactly what it's capable of doing, you're going to need a high definition or 'HD' source. You have a few options open to you, such as Blu-Ray discs, but for a high definition experience through a wide variety of programmes and movies you're best bet is to take a look at the new Sky HD service. Currently Sky HD offers around 25 channels that broadcast in HD, in addition to that there are the HD movies too.

With regard to the other standard definition channels that Sky has, I think that these look a bit better than a standard Sky box in terms of picture quality, probably down to the HDMI lead and a bit of upscaling on Sky's part. The picture quality is slightly better on new LCD TVs too as the digital compression doesnt show as much.

Sky HD comes complete with it's impressive Sky+ functionality built-in, which means that you are released from TV schedules. You can watch your favourite TV shows as and when it suits, it frees you from your life being dictated to by television programmes too! You can also series link to your favorite shows so that every episode in the series gets recorded onto your Sky HD hard disk and sits there waiting to be watched when you're ready. Perfect for us busy people to keep up to date with our favourites, especially when you're away on holiday.

If you'd like to find out how to get HDTV in your home, take a look at this guide today. Or if you're looking for a brand new LCD Television, make sure you check out our complete Sony LCD TVs review range before you hand over your hard earned cash for a model that wont meet your expectations!

Customer Review: SONY BRAVIA RULES
A 26" flat-screen tv that looks and sounds just as well as the larger sets in the market. Fantastic features, super fine image and extra crisp sound--with a great bass and not distortion at higher volumes. The red trim is soothing to the eyes and it was $100.00 cheaper than the other (white and black) Bravias in the market. Over a month after purchasing it, I still prefer to watch shows on this tv instead of the 54" in the living room. Get yourself one. You will not regret it!
Customer Review: SONY DELIVERS
I bought the KDL-26M4000 in white to match the bedroom furniture. It replaced a 19" big ugly black box analog set that was 10 years old. The slim digital display is a big improvement in appearance. The display is flawless in contrast, color rendition and viewing angle. Easy set up, fast delivery by Amazon and excellent sound. Selected Sony because of past experience with reliability and quality. Not dissapointed

Customer Review: Very Pleased
I am extremely satisfied with my new t.v. It works perfectly and arrived in good time.
Customer Review: Great TV
Very happy with this TV a lot of good reviews so I will just hit some basic points the other ones brought up. *Sound is fine for me and my gaming needs I can barely turn the TV up halfway without it blasting me out. Sure it may not be theater quality but it is better then past TVs I've owned. *Line of sight. As other people have brought up if you are not facing the TV directly it will seem dim. I have mine set above my desk and it is dim unless I have it pointed downward a bit. I will probably end up getting a diffrent mount for it. The TV does not come with a mount that allows it to tilt up/down so keep this in mind! *Picture quality is very good on my xbox 360, very happy with it! *Computer monitor. I have this hooked up to my computer and watch full screen movies on it from time to time. My computer (running XP) picked up the correct drivers for it right away and It seems to display great.

The Canon EF 100-400mm IS Lens is a serious, state of the art 100-400mm telephoto zoom lens with f/4.5 maximum aperture for Canon SLR cameras. The fantastic features of the Canon EF 100-400mm IS Lens add creative versatility and incredible clarity and sharpness.

The 2 Image stabilizer modes make it easy to capture both far-off action or to zoom in for an intimate portrait with a blurred background. This minimizes shake enough when shooting handheld, but for serious work you will need a tripod or some other kind of support, because the Canon EF 100-400mm IS Lens is big and can get heavy (as can be expected from these types of lenses).

This amazing Canon EF 100-400mm IS Lens is of sturdy construction and consists of 17 elements in 14 groups. It takes fantastic pictures, offering such features as fluorite and Super UD-glass elements that largely eliminate secondary spectrum. Being white it looks a bit strange, but it helps keep it cool when using the lens in the sun. It measures 3.6 inches in diameter, is 7.4 inches long and has a 1-year warranty.

Zooming with this lens might take a little time to get used to, but once you're familiar with it, it is much faster than twist zooming. To tighten or loosen the resistance a resistance ring is used. You can therefore lock the zoom in place to provide no resistance at all. Zooming is as simple as pulling or pushing the lens as its name suggest.

A floating system also ensures high picture quality at all focal lengths and the Canon EF 100-400mm IS Lens is compatible with extenders 1.4x II and 2x II with a 5.9-foot close focusing distance. The auto-focus is quick and quiet.

As described by one user 'The Canon EF 100-400mm IS Lens is a fantastic lens with great sharpness, clarity, no spectral flares and completely silent auto focus. Reasonably fast lens, the image stabilizer effectively makes it a little faster. If you decide to go for it know that you're in for a serious relationship with a serious lens. The payoff is that you have the gear to take incredible telephoto photographs and sharp photographs you can enlarge, suitable for publication.'

Apple iPods are great contributors to the company's success. There are a lot of MP3 players available in the market today. But what makes Apple iPod the best among the rest? We'll try to discover things that will change your opinion about iPod and how it can be your best buddy for digital entertainment.

There is no doubt that iPod is one of the most selling MP3 player since its release. Other manufacturers like Microsoft with there Zune, Sony with their versions of Sony Walkman, Philips with their own MP3 player, and other established companies are close competitors of Apple vying for the prize of getting the most number of consumers for a certain release. However, it is clear the iPod will still receive the recognition because of its innovative features.

iPod Touch with its multi-touch feature. So far, no other MP3 player manufacturer aside from Apple has ever built a player with the multi-touch feature. There are players in the market designed with a touch-screen feature, but this is totally behind the multi-touch. A touch-screen player can only sense a command from one point of the display. While a multi-touch player senses multi commands through different points of the display. Executing commands through combinations of touches. No need to stylus, bare hands can be used to issue the commands.

Tilt-sensor on iPod adds another advantage from other players. The tilt-sensor automatically detects the position of the player and accordingly adjusts the presentation of images to the display. Images are presented either portrait or landscape view. The tilt-sensor allows the player to convert to shuffle mode once the command is sensed.

Size, weight, and designs are factors separating iPod from the rest. iPod Shuffle can play up to 240 songs with its miniature size smaller than a match box. First generation of the iPod shuffle can hold data of up to 512 MB, but that successors are more robust and are provided with bigger data storage. The forth generation iPod Shuffle can store up to 2GB of data considering its size. In addition, these players come in various colors perfect for ones taste.

Battery lifespan of these players are totally impressive. A full charge of the iPod Shuffle's battery can accompany a user with continuous playing of songs for up to 12 to 14 hours. Newer versions can provide longer playing time.

Newer generations of iPod players are using flash memory in replacement of hard drive. This reduces the risk of damaging the unit due to system failures brought by damage hard drives. Most players shipped in the market today still use the hard drive to store data on the player. Moreover, an iPod can be used as a regular flash drive. Several iPod players can be used to store other types of data aside from audio, image, or video file common supported by iPod.
